Every posted term grade contributes to a cumulative GPA stored in integer milli-points, permanent by a state-statute retention floor. The gradebook-of-record feeds a record that lasts; weighted categories in exact-integer basis points carry no drift across four years, and the GPA is a pure deterministic projection — the same inputs always produce the same number.
With grades now permanent, the append-only grade-change log — who changed a grade, from what, to what, the reason, and the approver for a significant change, granted SELECT and INSERT only — is the fairness backbone behind the transcript. A correction is a new row; the original is never altered. A rep-scoped session reads zero grade rows at the database engine, before any application code runs.
The junior transcript is read hardest. From the settling sophomore year into the pivotal junior year -- the highest-stakes, most-scrutinized year on the ladder. A significant grade change requires a recorded approver, enforced as a database CHECK constraint, so the most-scrutinized document a student has rests on a tamper-evident trail rather than a promise.

What is built and what is honest-off
